Military action in Ukraine continues. Russia attacks schools, hospitals, and other civilian facilities.
To give the problem more publicity, the Ukrainian IT community launched a flash mob #RussiaIsATerroristState. Its goal is to change the name "Russia" to "Russia is a terrorist state" on all resources and online systems where you can choose a country or a language.
The first company to recognize Russia as a terrorist country was the market research platform Serpstat. They indicated this in their region selection menu.
In its wake, several other companies joined the flash mob. The Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, published screenshots with the corresponding designations on Twitter.
In addition, the minister urged Ukrainian and global IT companies to join the flash mob and once again remind the world that Russia is a terrorist country.
A country that fires at peaceful cities, commits war crimes and puts the whole world on the brink of nuclear war does not deserve to be called something else.
